It’s no secret that we at Silent Attraction love all sorts of music, and pop is no exception. Superstar boy band, One Direction, recently released a new single, “One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks)” for charity, Comic Relief. The song has a rock feel to it, definitely not the bubblegum pop that fans may be expecting from 1D, but it provides another look into the guys’ musical style. Although it isn’t terribly memorable, it’s a decent effort in support of increasing awareness of worldwide poverty. In addition, the (supposedly self-shot) music video is comical, even featuring a cameo from British PM, David Cameron, and a billion reasons for fan-girls to scream. So go support Comic Relief, and get some new pop music!
